Lagunbiru will be closing its airlock come the end of 2018. If you haven't already, please review the rules and FAQ. Once your application is complete, please send it to lagunbirustation@gmail.com with the subject line "Application: [Character name]". ↠ THE PLAYER Name: The name you wish to go by. Socks are acceptable! Contact: Your plurk, non-character journal, etc Over 18? You must be over 18 years of age to join. Other characters: Do you play anyone else in Lagunbiru? ↠ THE CHARACTER Name | Alias: The character's name, and (if it's different) the name they use on the communicator. Journal: The journal you intend to use for the game. Age: Characters must be physically and mentally over the age of 15. Canon: Canon point: History: A Wiki link is fine; for OCs and more obscure characters, please provide a short summary. Personality: What makes them tick? What are their strengths and flaws? This doesn't need to be an excessively long section, but both good and bad traits should be included. Abilities and Nerfs: List any abilities they have that are beyond the reach of humanity! If you believe any of their abilities will need to be nerfed, please specify which ones and how you intend to nerf them (i.e. if a character could smash down a building, they may be nerfed to having super strength but not enough to damage Lagunbiru's structures). Please also specify whether these nerfs are player choice (you may wish to prevent your character being able to do something) or whether you consider they might break the game (in this case, you may be able to negotiate whether they do in fact need to be nerfed). Inventory: The items your character was carrying when they left their canon. There is no item limit, but please be reasonable! Characters may bring only one weapon, and it should be small enough to fit in a duffel bag. Pets, as well as anything too large to be carried, cannot come to Lagunbiru. Appearance: What does your character look like? If you wish to anthropomorphize your character, please describe how they will look in-game rather than how they look in canon. You do not need to anthropomorphize a character, provided they are able to engage in sexual acts in their original form, but you may do so if you wish! For those from visual canons, image links are fine. Five Desires: From time to time, Lagunbiru can be generous. Here's where you can name up to five things your character would covet and maybe even step out of their comfort zone for. Gorgeous clothes or jewelry? Shiny new weapons? Vouchers for a night out on the town, or an intimate dinner date at the best restaurants? Ask, and perhaps ye shall receive... When deciding on your desires, please keep in mind that it is not possible for specific objects from a character's home world to be brought to Lagunbiru after they have arrived! Items in their (or a castmate's) inventory are the only things that can be transported. Samples: Two samples, which can consist of a thread with at least five comments from your character or a thread/post starter from your character (prose or network are both acceptable).
